Thanks to the space telescope Fermi, scientists have put an end, at least for the moment, to the debate on the nature of space and time. This gamma ray instrument has detected several photons that have travelled across the universe for billions of years. The difference in travel time between these particles was not significant. This proves that the speed of light does not fluctuate. Einstein was quite right!
